Udo Jürgens

Udo Jürgens represented Austria three times in the Eurovision Song Contest. In 1964, he performed "Warum nur, warum?" in German, finishing 6th with 11 points. The following year, he sang "Sag ihr, ich lass sie grüßen," also in German, achieving 4th place with 16 points. His most notable entry came in 1966 when he won the contest with the song "Merci Chérie," scoring 31 points. Jürgens is remembered for his strong performances and significant success at Eurovision during the mid-1960s.
