Jetty Paerl

Jetty Paerl represented the Netherlands in the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest in 1956. She performed the song "De vogels van Holland," sung in Dutch. As one of the first artists to participate in Eurovision, Paerl has a notable place in the contest's history. Her contribution helped establish the Netherlands as a founding country of the competition.
