Domenico Modugno

Domenico Modugno was an Italian singer and songwriter known for his participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. He represented Italy four times with memorable entries including "Nel blu, dipinto di blu" in 1958, which finished in 3rd place with 13 points, and "Piove" in 1959, placing 6th with 9 points. In 1966, Modugno also performed "Dio, come ti amo" for Italy, finishing 17th in the final.
