The Eurovision Song Contest Asia is expanding, and Bangladesh is the latest country to join this exciting new event. To find the nation's representative, Bangladesh is hosting Voice of Bangladesh, a national selection show where viewers and juries will choose the country's entry for Eurovision Asia.
Voice of Bangladesh Selection Details
The inaugural Voice of Bangladesh show will be held on Wednesday, 30 September, airing at 16:50 CEST (20:50 BST). Bangladeshi audiences can watch via the NTV network and the streaming platform Bongo, while viewers worldwide can stream the event on the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel.
Viewers both inside and outside Bangladesh are encouraged to vote for their favorite songs at the Eurovision Asia website. Voting is free and allows up to eight votes, spread across at least three entries. Outside votes will represent 20% of the final score, domestic votes 40%, and a professional jury 40%.
Hosting the show is Tahsan Rahman Khan, a prominent Bangladeshi musician, actor, and presenter known for his bilingual and articulate style. The jury panel features esteemed Bangladeshi music icons including Bappa Majumdar, Akhi Alamgir, Hamin Ahmed, Fahmida Nabi, and Shouquat Ali Imon.

Ten diverse artists and bands will compete to represent Bangladesh, showcasing various genres and musical styles:

- Benazir: Solo artist with hit track "Shesh Kanna".
- The Kushiyara Waves: Fusion band blending Bengali folk with jazz and global sounds.
- Lubaina Afnan: Multi-talented musician incorporating classical dance in performance.
- Vintage Theory: Indie-rock band known for energetic pop-rock fusion.
- Sharot: Versatile artist spanning rock, pop, jazz, and folk.
- Beatmosphere: Innovative a cappella and beatbox collective.
