Bangladesh's Voice of Bangladesh selects entry for Eurovision Asia
The Eurovision Song Contest Asia is expanding its reach as Bangladesh prepares to select its first-ever contestant through a national selection show titled Voice of Bangladesh. This pioneering event takes place in Dhaka and features ten diverse performers competing to represent Bangladesh at the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia.

The national final is scheduled for Wednesday, 30 September at 16:50 CEST (20:50 BST). Bangladeshi audiences can watch the show on the NTV network and streaming platform Bongo, both involved in producing the contest. International fans can stream live on the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel, where they can also interact through a live chat.
Voting and jury structure
Audience voting is free and allows up to eight votes per viewer, which must be distributed over at least three different songs. Votes from outside Bangladesh will contribute 20% to the final result, while Bangladesh viewers hold 40%, and a professional jury accounts for the remaining 40%. Voting is conducted via the Eurovision Asia website.

The show will be hosted by Tahsan Rahman Khan, a respected Bangladeshi pop musician, actor, and host known for his bilingual fluency and academic background. The judging panel includes notable Bangladeshi musicians and artists: Bappa Majumdar, Akhi Alamgir, Hamin Ahmed, Fahmida Nabi, and Shouquat Ali Imon, providing professional assessments following each performance.

- Pulak Adhikary – Veteran singer, songwriter, and composer with over 20 years of experience, performing with rapper and supporting vocalist for dynamic energy.
- Nusrat Jahan (Kriti) – Graduate with a music master’s, inspired by her singer father, representing folk music.
- Krishan Barman – Folk musician focused on Bengali cultural heritage, nationally recognized for patriotic songs.
- SUBCONSCIOUS – Established rock band with multiple albums and awards, finishing their fourth album.
- Benazir – Breakthrough solo artist with viral hits and multiple projects.
- The Kushiyara Waves – Fusion band blending Bengali folk with jazz and contemporary styles.
- Lubaina Afnan – Independent musician integrating songwriting, composition, and dance with professional dancers onstage.
- Vintage Theory – Indie rock band known for energetic performances mixing classic rock with modern pop.
- Sharot – Versatile singer-songwriter spanning rock, pop, jazz, and folk with a deep, powerful voice.
- Beatmosphere – Vocal ensemble specializing in a cappella and beatboxing, creating complex soundscapes using only human voices.
