Vietnam is gearing up for the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026 with the announcement that Tóc Tiên, a celebrated figure in Vietnamese music for over two decades, will be the nation's representative. The selection process is centered around the national selection show, The Sound of Vietnam, which features the artist collaborating with five creative teams to develop an eclectic range of potential entries.

Organized by broadcaster VTV3 and DAO Music Entertainment, the contest aims not only to select a winning song but also to explore the unique musical identity of Vietnam. Each of the five creative teams contributed original songs, each reflecting a distinctive musical style and production approach. Tóc Tiên worked closely with each team, infusing her artistic identity into the songs to craft five unique interpretations.

The songs will be performed live for the first time during the national final on Saturday, 3 October 2025, at 16:30 CEST (21:30 Vietnam time). Vietnamese viewers can watch the show on VTV3, while the international audience can stream it live on the Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel.

Voting is open to audiences worldwide through the Eurovision Asia website, allowing fans to vote up to eight times across at least three different songs free of charge. The winning song will accompany Tóc Tiên as she represents Vietnam at Eurovision Song Contest Asia in Bangkok on Saturday, 14 November 2026.
