Vietnamese superstar Tóc Tiên has been announced as the official representative for Vietnam at the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026, set to take place in Bangkok. The announcement accompanies the launch of a national selection show The Sound of Vietnam, where audiences will vote to select the song she will perform on the international stage.

The Sound of Vietnam: A National Selection Journey

The Vietnamese broadcaster VTV3, in partnership with production company DAO Music Entertainment, has designed The Sound of Vietnam as a platform to showcase diverse musical talents and styles from across the country. Tóc Tiên, an artist with over twenty years of musical experience, collaborates with five creative teams, each producing an original song spanning distinctive musical genres.

Each of the five songs reflects a unique musical identity. Tóc Tiên worked closely with each team to blend her artistic style with their diverse musical approaches, resulting in five distinct interpretations. These songs will be performed live in a spectacular televised event where viewers can cast their votes.

Voting and Participation

  • The live performances will premiere at 16:30 CEST (21:30 IST) on Saturday, October 3, broadcast on VTV3 within Vietnam and via the Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel internationally.
  • Voting is open to audiences worldwide through the official Eurovision Asia website and is free of charge.
  • Each voter can vote up to eight times across at least three different songs, ensuring broad participation and engagement.

The winning song from The Sound of Vietnam will become Tóc Tiên’s Eurovision Asia entry for the contest day on Saturday, November 14, 2026.
