The Philippines is set to debut in the Eurovision Song Contest Asia with its first ever National Selection Show, known as Philippine Selection Night, scheduled for Sunday, 30 August at 15:45 CEST (21:45 PHT).

The event will be hosted at the New Frontier Theatre in Manila and broadcast live on Filipino TV networks ABS-CBN, ALLTV2, and Kapamilya Channel. For viewers worldwide, the show will be streamed live on the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel.

The selection will feature ten artists competing to represent the Philippines, presenting both their songs and performances. The show’s main host is Vice Ganda, a prominent Filipino entertainer and singer, accompanied by Alexa Ilacad hosting in the green room to interact with the contestants.

Voting Process

The selection winner will be determined through a combination of votes from three groups:

  • Professional jury (40%)
  • Filipino viewers at home (40%)
  • International viewers outside the Philippines, contributing to the 'Rest of the World' vote (20%)

Voting is free and open globally via the Eurovision Asia website during the live broadcast once announced. Each viewer gets eight free votes but must spread these votes across at least three different songs. Additional votes can be purchased up to ten extra votes per user.

  • DNA, an all-sibling P-Pop girl group

  • Esang de Torres, child prodigy and musical theatre performer
  • Lance Reblando, noted for musical theatre and diverse artistic work
  • Russ Narcies Cabico (Nar), a multi-talented singer and songwriter
  • Jason Dy, known as the "Prince of Soul" in the Philippines
  • Sassa, a powerful vocalist rising from The Voice Kids and The Clash
  • JM Dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano, Grand Winners of Your Face Sounds Familiar season 4
  • KHIMO, Idol Philippines season 2 winner and original songwriter
  • Ryssi Avila, acclaimed R&B singer-songwriter and Idol Philippines runner-up
  • John Mark Saga, runner-up in Tawag ng Tanghalan season 3
  • VVINK, a five-member girl group under FlipMusic Records
  • Russu Laurente, known for his appearances on reality shows and as a P-Pop artist

This national selection show marks a significant step for the Philippines as it enters the Eurovision Song Contest Asia, providing global audiences with both the featured songs and performer to watch in this new continental contest format.
