The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 took place on 16 May 2026 at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria. This edition had 35 participating countries, the lowest number since the introduction of semi-finals in 2004.

Bulgaria emerged as the winner with the song "Bangaranga" performed by Dara, achieving a total of 516 points. Austria, as the previous year's winner, hosted the event which was broadcast by Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF). The hosts were Victoria Swarovski, Michael Ostrowski, and Emily Busvine, who also managed the Green Room.

The Grand Final included 25 countries: the Big-4 nations (France, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom), Austria as the prior winner, and the top 10 from each semi-final. The voting system combined televoting from participating countries, an online "Rest of the World" vote, and national juries, each awarding 1 through 12 points (with certain points excluded) to the songs.

Notably, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Slovenia, and Spain boycotted the contest due to the participation of Israel.
