Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026 Set to Launch in Bangkok

The Eurovision Song Contest is expanding its global musical influence with the first ever Eurovision Song Contest Asia, scheduled for Saturday, 14 November 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand. Broadcasting songs from 11 participating countries, the event promises to unite viewers across Asia and beyond with an exciting cultural showcase.

Hosts Woody Milintachinda and Cindy Bishop

The event organizers announced that renowned Asian entertainers Woody Milintachinda and Cindy Bishop will be the hosts for this groundbreaking contest. Woody Milintachinda, acclaimed for his warmth and experience interviewing global figures, is also the founder of the international S2O Songkran Music Festival. Cindy Bishop, an experienced bilingual host, actress, and UN Women Goodwill Ambassador, brings over 30 years of expertise in entertainment and advocacy, known for her connection with diverse audiences.

Event Details and Ticket Information

The competition will be held live at the One Bangkok Forum, showcasing the diverse cultures and creative talents of pan-Asian nations. Tickets will be available for general sale from 2 October 2026, with a special Eurofan presale starting on 1 October. Fans can sign up on the official Eurovision Song Contest website to gain early access.

Participating Countries and National Selections

Eleven pioneering nations will take part, four of which have already selected their songs through National Selection Shows: Bhutan, Philippines, Republic of Korea, and Laos. Malaysia has chosen its artist, with the song to be revealed later. Fans can follow the upcoming national selections live on the Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel and cast their votes on the Eurovision Asia website.
