History will be made in 2026 when the Eurovision Song Contest celebrates its 70th edition alongside the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia, taking place in Bangkok, Thailand, on Saturday 14 November.

This new contest promises to shine a spotlight on Pan-Asian music on the global stage. Fans worldwide are invited to follow and participate in the journey leading up to the event by watching all national selection shows live.

Similar to the traditional Eurovision format, many participating countries will select their entries through various national selection shows, each showcasing their own format but united in highlighting their musical talents. These selection shows will be streamed live for free on the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel.

A highlight of the process is that the "Rest of the World" vote will be incorporated into these national selections, allowing international viewers to cast votes to influence which songs advance to the contest. Voting details will be revealed ahead of each selection show.

Among the confirmed dates, Malaysia will announce its representative on Sunday 15 August via its annual music competition AJL: Anugerah Juara Lagu.

Eurovision Hub encourages fans to keep track of additional national selection announcements and stay updated through the official Eurovision Song Contest Asia website as the event approaches.
