The host broadcaster for the 24th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Malta’s Public Broadcasting Services (PBS), has announced the 16 countries that will participate in the competition held in Malta on Saturday, 24 October 2026.

The participating countries and broadcasters are:

  • Cyprus (CyBC)
  • France (France Télévisions)
  • Georgia (GPB)
  • Ireland (TG4)
  • Italy (Rai)
  • Malta (PBS)
  • Montenegro (RTCG)
  • Netherlands (AVROTROS)
  • North Macedonia (MKRTV)
  • Poland (TVP)
  • Portugal (RTP)
  • San Marino (SMRTV)
  • Spain (RTVE)
  • Ukraine (Suspilne)

Young artists aged between 9 and 14 years old will represent their countries on the Junior Eurovision stage in Ta' Qali at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre (MFCC), which is set to transform into a festive 'Eurovision Festa Village'.

The event will air live at 21:00 CEST on 24 October, available through the 16 national broadcasters and the official Junior Eurovision YouTube channel.

Additionally, the new Junior Eurovision website junior.eurovision.com was launched on 24 July to offer fans news and history related to the contest.

France, the winner of the 2025 contest with the song Ce Monde performed by Lou Deleuze, ties with Georgia for the most Junior Eurovision victories, with four wins each.
