In a historic first, the Eurovision Song Contest Asia will make its debut on Saturday, 14 November 2026, in Bangkok, Thailand, marking the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest franchise. This new event promises to spotlight Pan-Asian musical talent on a global stage.
Leading up to the grand final, audiences worldwide can follow the national selection events of each participating country. These shows will be broadcast live on the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel, inviting fans everywhere to discover and support emerging artists.
Each national selection will feature its unique format but shares the goal of choosing a song to represent its country at the contest in Bangkok. Importantly, viewers around the world will be able to vote in these selection shows, participating alongside local audiences through an inclusive "Rest of the World" voting system.
Several national selection schedules have already been announced, allowing fans to mark their calendars. Additionally, on 15 August, Malaysia will reveal its representative through the established music competition AJL : Anugerah Juara Lagu.
