Lion Ceccah, a Lithuanian stage artist, songwriter, and advocate of drag culture, will represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna. Hailing from Vilnius, Ceccah combines his extensive background in musical theatre, dance, and visual arts to create compelling performances.
Early Career and Artistic Development
Since his childhood, Lion Ceccah has shown a passion for integrating music, dance, poetry, and visual arts. His formal studies included violin training from 2000 to 2007, alongside ballroom and street dance development.
His breakthrough came in 2017 with a notable appearance on X Factor, drawing public attention to his talents. The following year, he released his debut single Aš čia and inaugurated his first concert in Vilnius’s St. Catherine’s Church. Additionally, he founded Studio 91, a creative space that has hosted exhibitions, performances, and drag art workshops, pioneering this art form in Lithuania.
Eurovision Journey
Lion Ceccah first competed in Lithuania’s national selection for Eurovision in 2025 with the song Drobė, achieving second place. Demonstrating persistence and growth, he returned in 2026 and won the national final, securing the opportunity to represent his country on the international Eurovision stage in Vienna.
