The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 continues tonight with the second Semi-final live from Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria. Fifteen countries will perform their songs, competing for the last ten qualification spots for Saturday’s Grand Final.

The event, hosted by Victoria Swarovski and Michael Ostrowski, kicks off at 21:00 CEST. Three pre-qualified nations—France, Austria, and the United Kingdom—will also perform, though they do not compete in this round.

Before each performance, viewers will see artistic "postcards" combining Austrian landscapes with studio recordings of the artists in imaginative settings, continuing a Eurovision tradition with roots dating back to 1869.

Between performances, viewers will enjoy segments such as a humorous parody of last year’s winning song "Wasted Love," a focus on Eurovision’s historical connection with the LGBTQI+ community, and artists’ first reactions to the Eurovision stage, accompanied by an instrumental version of "Euphoria."

Interval acts include a lively disco performance of "I’m So Excited" by hosts Michael and Victoria, a traditional Viennese waltz featuring the audience and artists set to Austria’s 1966 winning entry "Merci, Chrie," and a new single performed by last year’s winner, JJ.

Voting rules were explained in both English and French before the show, with public and jury votes combined from participating countries and three pre-qualified ones. For the first time, viewers from non-participating countries can cast online votes weighted equally to one participating country.

Following performances and voting, results will reveal which ten countries from Semi-final 2 advance to the Grand Final. The 70th edition of Eurovision is proudly produced by ORF and is celebrating its milestone anniversary in Vienna, Austria this May.
