James Newman is a British singer and songwriter who represented the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest. He competed in 2021 with the song "Embers," which placed 26th in the final. He was also set to represent the UK in the 2020 contest with the song "My Last Breath" before the event was canceled. Both entries were performed in English.
